Creativity isn't limited to the
photographic, canvas as well as film and other media. It also stimulates
charity as well as philanthropy and activism. Patricia Velasquez is an
award-winning supermodel, actress, and actor. Also, she is a dedicated and generous
philanthropist. Author activist, author and loving mother. In any case, she has
made major strides by drawing on instinct and actively paving her own pathway.
"I see my work as an endless staircase," she said. "I made every
step to the top. It was incredible to achieve this, as there was perseverance.
I wasn't able to stop moving. just sat with my head down. The metaphor directly
resembles a formative experience. In the following years she relocated to
Venezuela. She was born in Venezuela and raised in France and Mexico. In South
America her parents worked in education. They relocated their family to an
apartment complex without water and no elevators. Patricia took 15 staircases
up using heavy buckets to supply water to the apartment. She tried to help her
family in any way she could despite her studies in engineering and intense
dance classes. In the process of being scouted to model in Milan, the multi
talented artist's ascent to the top of fashion rested on a promise she made to
those she loved. She recounts, "When they asked me if I wanted to go to
Italy I replied"If you can pay thirty dollars a month back home to
Venezuela and it's worth it, since that will cover the whole building's water
bills'." Patricia's achievement was a major moment in fashion since she
was able to draw attention to South America for first time. After becoming
"the first Karl Lagerfeld model ever photographed" and then going on
to star in editorial spreads as well as advertisements for the front of Chanel
as well as Dolce & Gabbana. She also appeared in Oprah's
"Supermodel of the World Contest" with Ford Models. In addition she
was featured on the covers of Vogue, Bazaar, Marie Claire and many more.
